  My daughter Giuliana Maria Lorenzini was born on Saturday 12/16/2006 at 8:18 PM at Hinsdale Hospital. Lisa gave birth naturally (no epidural or drugs) and the delivery, although very difficult and painful, went smoothly. It was amazing.

Giuliana was born after about 20 minutes of pushing and was 6 lbs, 2 oz and 18 inches long at birth.

  In August of 2005 Lisa, Sofia and I went to Victoria and Banff in Western Canada. It was Sofia's first vacation and her first time on an airplane. She did astoundingly on the airplanes considering she was 6 months old.

  My daughter Sofia Francesca Lorenzini was born on Saturday 2/19/2005 at 12:29 PM at Hinsdale Hospital. Lisa gave birth naturally (no epidural or drugs) and the delivery, although very difficult and painful, went very quickly and smoothly. It was amazing, Lisa kept her composure during the entire delivery and did an outstanding job, I am very proud of her. It was the most amazing experience, no words can capture the love, joy, excitement and pure emotional energy of watching your wife give birth to your child. It was moving.

  The tall pines retreat at Black Bear Lodge on Lake Little St. Germain in St. Germain, Wisconsin will never be the same. At the end of August 2004 it was the scene of a 3 keg, 3 boat, 15 man fishing extravaganza. It was awesome. Thank you Assman for planning it.

  This was my first year ever going to the Kentucky Derby and my first time in Kentucky. It really is a great time. The people are very friendly and there are some cool things to do (like Bourbon distillary tours). 4 of us on the trip pooled our money and hit a 4 horse Trifecta box, and the Winner of the Kentucky Derby (That's 'Smarty Jones' by the way). That win basically paid for the weekend.

  All the Lorenzini's (as in the Arnold Lorenzini's) went down to Scottsdale, Arizona for my parent's 40th Anniversary. It was a great time of year to be in Arizona.
